Holy Genesis

This is the illustration I made for the March of Robots contest organized by Smirnov School.
Here is the world of a future where technology is exalted and life is devalued. A world where modifications and augmentation become an integral part of life and are considered a blessing. A world where humanity is so imbued with the possibilities of an artificial body and mind that it creates a god for itself. First in the form of religion, and then in the flesh.
Exactly this beautiful day that the Archbishop of the Church of Holy Genesis greets the Savior of Humanity, the Only True Incarnation of Holy Genesis on Earth. It is today that the Archbishop will be given the honor to accompany God in a solemn procession through the streets of the New Vatican in order to broadcast to the world the power and might of an ideal deity and to mark the arrival of a new era on the planet.
